Bloomington-Normal Cougars JFL COVID Safety Guideline

At all Cougar Flag and Football practices we must follow these COVID safety guidelines:

1. Players will meet coach/team manager to sanitize hands before you get on the field - do not touch any equipment before sanitizing.

2. Footballs and flags must be sanitized after each practice/game. So all equipment used will need to be collected at the end of each practice and will be sanitized and stored for the next practice.

3. Masks - coaches and players are not required to wear mask on the field and sidelines.   

4. If your player or a member of your family is not feeling well, or waiting on COVID test results do not send the player to practice or games.  

5. Please follow the McLean County Health Department if you are COVID positive or close contact and refrain from returning to practice until you have quarantined for the appropriate time.

These guidelines will allow us to take proper precautions to ensure other players and families are kept safe at all times. Thank you for everyone’s cooperation.

Bloomington-Normal Cougars JFL COVID Close Contact or Positive Test Quarantine Days

Please notify your head coach if a player or close family member has a positive COVID test or a close contact.

Once notified, the head coach will notify the executive board and a close contact or positive COVID test email will be sent to the team with the following information:

If the player has tested positive for COVID, the entire team will be quarantined from practice for 5 days.  The player will continue to follow the Mclean County COVID protocols.

If the player was a close contact to a positive test – the team will still continue to practice, however the player will quarantine for 5 days.
