2020 Season Cancelled

The Junior Football League of Central Illinois’ Board of Directors voted to cancel the 2020 Fall Season at their August 6th League Meeting. The vote comes after guidelines were posted from the Illinois State Governor, Department of Public Health, and High School Association that prohibited athletes from participating in our League's activities. We exhausted all efforts to safely provide a Fall season, but due to restrictions beyond our control, were unable to do so. The League will continue to monitor COVID-19 and IDPH restrictions in the event that an option for athletes to participate in the Spring becomes available. As this situation remains ever changing, the Board of Directors will not make any decisions on available Spring options until later in the year when more definitive answers become available. Thank you to our young athletes and their families for continuing to promote the JFLOCI and the sports of youth tackle football, flag football, and cheerleading. We look forward to seeing you in 2021!

Refunds will be processed within the next two weeks.

To the 8th Graders, we are beyond heartbroken that your youth football experience has been cut short with the Cougars. I know that the coaches were looking forward to building upon our prior successes to help you become a better football player and person.
