The Bloomington-Normal Cougars Junior Football League (JFL) are members of the Junior Football League of Central Illinois (JFLOCI), which was established in 1967; currently there are 28 areas that represent the JFLOCI. The B-N Cougars offers flag football, tackle football, and cheer leading for youth between the ages of 5 and 14.
Flag Football:
There are two divisions of play: 5/6 and 6/7 year old players.
Division of flag football play is determined by age as of August 1st of the current year.
Tackle Football:
There are five divisions of play: Squirts, Pee Wee, Junior Varsity, Varsity, and Senior.
